A man has become the first person in the Netherlands to be convicted for 'stealthing' on his female partner. The man, named Khaldoun F, was given a prison sentence equivalent to that of the perpetrator of the theft. Based on her partner's statement, the woman had agreed to have sex with F. However, F did 'stealth' or secretly removed the condom while the two were making love. At the Dordrecht District Court, the 28-year-old man admitted guilt. He was sentenced to three months probation and required to pay a fine of US$ 1,060 or the equivalent of IDR 16 million rupiah.[1]

For victims of 'stealth' must have clear consequences. For example, unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections, and psychological trauma. What is Stealth? Stealthing occurs when someone leads their partner to believe they are about to have sexual intercourse using a condom or protection. However, just before sex, the condom is removed without the consent and knowledge of the partner. This is included in the act of deception. In fact, experts consider it an act of unsafe sex and based on coercion. The act was first defined in a 2017 Yale University study.
