Diana (43) is the mother of Soleh Darmawan (24). Diana explained that her son worked in Cambodia starting from an offer from a job search foundation with an office in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, in mid-February 2025. At that time, Soleh was promised work in the hotel sector in Thailand. Coincidentally, Soleh had been involved in the hotel world for a long time. Soleh then visited the foundation's office on February 17, 2025. Soleh then agreed to work in Thailand. After reaching an agreement, Soleh returned to his residence to ask for his parents' blessing. Exactly on February 18, 2025, Soleh finally left for Thailand by plane even though his mother had forbidden him.[1]

Upon arriving in Thailand, Soleh contacted his mother while reminding her not to worry about him. Within four days, the two of them continued to communicate every day. However, after that, their communication suddenly broke off. During the communication break, Diana was always worried about her son's fate. This worry finally peaked when she was suddenly contacted by a man named Kevin in a video call on the evening of March 2, 2025. In the middle of the conversation, Diana was surprised when the video call camera showed Soleh sitting slumped on the bed. She repeatedly called her son, but Soleh did not respond at all. After that, their conversation ended. On the morning of March 3, 2025, Kevin contacted her again. He informed her that his son had died. The news made her very sad. She immediately asked Kevin to return her son's body.[2]

On March 15, 2025, Soleh's body arrived in Indonesia and was immediately taken to the funeral home. Upon arriving at the funeral home, Diana saw stitches on her son's waist. She thought there was something odd about her son's death. The family gave up. Finally, Soleh was buried on March 16, 2025. The burial was carried out next to his house.
