The government has started implementing and inviting people to switch to electronic land certificates. Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid ensures that electronic land certificates are safer than paper or physical documents. Nusron explained that electronic certificate storage in the data center is backed up in layers. This will make it difficult for hackers to retrieve land certificate data. "The data center is layered. It is stored, I cannot mention it. It is stored in five places. Layered here, here, backed up and so on. There is first line, second line, third layer, fourth layer, up to fifth layer, up to layers," said Nusron when met by journalists at the ATR/BPN office, South Jakarta.[1]

According to him, hackers will not be able to break into these five layers. In this way, electronic certificates are considered safe. "It's impossible for electronic goods with back-up to be layered, isn't it? If someone hacks them or breaks them, it's all broken, it's impossible," he said.[2]

In contrast to paper certificates, according to Nusron, these documents are actually more unsafe. He said paper certificates were easily lost due to theft or accidents such as fire. "If it's paper, once it's stolen, stolen, robbed (if) one is lost (then) it's all lost. Fire, everything's lost. If you can check this on your laptop, you can check it on your cellphone, you can check this," said Nusron.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

A Russian military court sentenced a man accused of spying for Ukraine to 16 years in prison. This Russian man is accused of providing data about military sites near Moscow to Ukraine and preparing attacks in that country. The Russian Investigative Committee in its statement, said the unidentified man filmed an air defense system in the Podolsk area, which is about 40 kilometers south of Moscow, in April last year. The man then sent images of the air defense system, accompanied by geographic data, the Russian Investigative Committee said, to his "mentor in Ukraine to guide drone strikes against these military sites".[1]

The Russian Investigative Committee said that the man on trial also brought weapons from Ukraine to Russian territory in 2017, to prepare attacks in several regions, including Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod, all of which border Ukraine. A Russian military court also found the man guilty on charges of preparing an attack, weapons smuggling and involvement in terrorist activities.[2]

Russia has launched a crackdown on those who criticize what it calls Moscow's special military operations in Ukraine since February 2022. The critics are being tried on various charges, ranging from treason, terrorism, extremism, sabotage, to espionage. Increasingly, trials against critics of Russia's military operations or invasion of Ukraine are increasing.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

The Consumer Court in Bangalore, India, decided that the PVR INOX cinema chain must compensate for the delay in screening the film which occurred in December 2023. The case that happened to Abhishek MR (30) began when he ordered three tickets for a Bollywood film which was scheduled to be shown at 16.05 local time, but the film only started at 16.30 because the trailer and advertisements were 25 minutes long. In his lawsuit, Abhishek stated that the delay made him lose valuable time and disrupted his schedule, so that he could not return to work on time after the film ended.[1]

He claimed that the incident caused mental suffering and caused losses that could not be measured in money. "In the modern era, time is money. Everyone has valuable time, and no one has the right to waste other people's time and money," he said. He added, "It is very difficult for busy people with busy schedules to watch unnecessary advertisements."[2]

In the decision that was handed down, the court ordered PVR INOX to pay a fine of 100,000 rupees (around IDR. 19 million), plus compensation of 50,000 rupees (around IDR. 9.4 million) for mental suffering, as well as 10,000 rupees (around IDR. 1.8 million) for the costs of filing a complaint. The cinema stated that screening public service advertisements was an obligation of the government, as well as providing an opportunity for viewers who arrived late. However, the court considered that broadcasting commercial advertisements beyond the scheduled time was unjustified. Meanwhile, ticket booking platform BookMyShow, which Abhishek also sued, was found not liable as it had no control over the screening of advertisements in cinemas.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Tlogowungu Police visited the residence of a teenager who went viral for stealing bananas to support his younger sibling. The 17-year-old teenager and his younger brother were given assistance and appointed as Police foster children. As reported, the teenager's mother died seven years ago. Meanwhile his father went somewhere and there was no news.[1]

"This incident received the attention of the Pati Police Chief. We wanted to ensure that this teenager and his younger brother were in good condition, so we came to visit and provide a little assistance," explained the Tlogowungu Police Chief, AKP Mujahid. He said that assistance was given to the teenager and his younger brother. They are also given educational assistance. "We also provide assistance with education costs so that they can continue attending school," he explained.[2]

Not only that, the teenager will be invited to the foundation he manages in Pati. Mujahid also plans to invite the two of them to live at his foundation. So that in the future you can recite the newspaper and the next day you can go to school. "I didn't take him to my foundation, but I had to go to Pati. Ari Bias Sues Agnes Monica for Alleged Copyright Infringement of the Song 'Bilang Saja'

Previously, the www.hukumindo.com platform has talk about "Bitner Sianturi Has Withdrawn His Lawsuit to Street Vegetable Seller", "Viral, Case of Lawsuit to Street Vegetable Seller at Magetan District Court", you may read also "Electronic BPKB (Motor Vehicle Owner's Book) Has Been Launched in Indonesia" and on this occasion we will discuss about 'Ari Bias Sues Agnes Monica for Alleged Copyright Infringement of the Song 'Bilang Saja'.

The civil lawsuit of songwriter Ari Bias against Agnes Monica or Agnez Mo was granted by a judge at the Jakarta Commercial Court. Agnez Mo had to pay Ari a fine of IDR 1.5 billion. A fine of IDR 1.5 billion must be paid because Agnez Mo was found guilty of violating the Copyright Law, not having permission to sing the song 'Bilang Saja' created by Ari Bias, while performing at three different events. Ari Bias emphasized that Agnez Mo had not provided any response regarding the decision of the Jakarta Commercial Court, which asked him to pay compensation of IDR 1.5 billion to Ari.[1]

In its decision, the Panel of Judges considered two main things in the main case. First, the legal ownership of the copyright for the song "Bilang Saja" by Ari Bias. Second, commercial use of songs without permission by Agnes Monica. Based on the evidence presented, including the Creation Registration Letter from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI), the Judge stated that Ari Bias was the creator and copyright holder of the song "Bilang Saja". In addition, video evidence and concert posters show that Agnes Monica has performed the song in three performances without permission from Ari Bias. For this reason, the Panel of Judges partially granted Ari Bias' lawsuit and decided that the use of the song "Bilang Saja" by Agnes Monica without permission violated Article 9 paragraphs (2) and (3) of Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright. This article requires anyone who uses a work commercially to obtain permission from the creator or copyright holder.[2] Until it was published, this case still did not have permanent legal force. Electronic BPKB (Motor Vehicle Owner's Book) Has Been Launched in Indonesia

Previously, the www.hukumindo.com platform has talk about "Scammed by a Itinerant Street Vendor", "Deceived by Buying Durian Online", you may read also "Case of Ordering 100 Kg Durian" and on this occasion we will discuss about 'Electronic BPKB (Motor Vehicle Owner's Book) Has Been Launched in Indonesia'.

BPKB (Motor Vehicle Owner's Book) will be more sophisticated because it is electronic. The shape has also changed, if it was originally a book with a fairly wide size, it is now smaller. If we pay attention, its current shape resembles a passport. Its sophistication is also similar to an electronic passport, namely it is equipped with a chip to store vehicle data. "In the past, the BPKB had paper that was quite wide. Later, it was small like a passport. There was a chip that contained complete vehicle data. If it was lost, we could access it easily so it could be printed again," explained Head of the BPKB Sub-Directorate, Directorate of Police Traffic Corps, Commissioner Pol. Sumardji.[1]

Even though the form and technology involved are more sophisticated, there has been no change regarding costs. For information, the cost of issuing a new BPKB still refers to Government Regulation (PP) no. 76 of 2020 concerning Types and Rates of PNBP Applicable to the National Police. It says that the cost of issuing a BPKB or changing ownership will be IDR 225 thousand for a two-wheeled or three-wheeled motorized vehicle. Meanwhile, for four-wheeled vehicles, the cost of issuing a new one and changing ownership is IDR 375 thousand. "There has been no change in costs," said Sumardji.[2]

The existence of electronic BPKB will make things easier for vehicle owners. The electronic BPKB contains the complete identity of the vehicle owner. Implementing electronic BPKB will also make the vehicle mutation process faster. It is even claimed that the process takes no more than one day. As is known, the process of mutation or duplication of lost BPKB must take months. The electronic BPKB is integrated with several things such as vehicle history, vehicle data, and can be connected to NFC on a smartphone. However, please note that this electronic BPKB will only come into effect in March 2025, specifically for new cars. Meanwhile, it is not yet known when exactly two-wheeled vehicles will be implemented because it adjusts to the existing budget.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.
