A fraud story that occurred in Shenzhen, China, recently went viral and caught the attention of netizens. Not a few, the victims involved 36 men who were deceived by a beautiful woman who pretended to be their girlfriend. The woman tricked the men by promising to marry them if they bought a house for her in a city about 90 km from Shenzhen. The woman, known as Liu Jia, first met the victims through an online dating platform. One of the victims, who used the pseudonym Atao, revealed that she met Liu in March last year and felt very much in love with him.[1]

"He gave me the impression of being gentle, well-mannered, family-oriented, and very caring. I thought she was the perfect girlfriend," Atao said. Liu said he was 30 years old and from Central China's Hunan Province, and worked in the e-commerce industry in Shenzhen. After dating for a month, Liu started talking about marriage and suggested Atao buy a house first. To convince Atao, Liu even offered 30,000 yuan (around IDR. 67.5 million) as assistance for the down payment on the house. To further convince Atao, Liu also recommended two blocks of houses in Huizhou city that were being marketed at a huge discount. With the huge subsidy offered, Atao finally bought one of the houses, although Liu refused to add his name to the house ownership certificate.[2]

However, after the transaction was completed, Liu began to avoid her. She no longer answered Atao's calls or messages and slowly began to distance herself. Another victim, named Wang, revealed that she had also been a victim in the same way. After buying a house, Liu disappeared under the pretext of being busy, blocking her calls, and deleting her from her contact list. According to Atao, she has recorded at least 36 men, all in their 30s and working in Shenzhen, who have fallen victim to this scam. They all had short-lived relationships with Liu, lasting only one to two months. As a result, Atao now has to pay a monthly house installment of 4,100 yuan (around IDR. 9.2 million), while she also has to pay rent in Shenzhen and take care of her parents. Many netizens then commented on the case.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

A German tourist who attempted to smuggle an ancient Greek marble column out of the country has been arrested and now faces up to 12 years in prison. The 61-year-old was arrested at the Port of Patras earlier this week as he prepared to board a ferry to Italy in his private car. Patras Port Authority officers discovered the ancient artifacts hidden in his car during a routine inspection.[1]

Now, the German man faces a lengthy prison sentence for violating a new, stricter law on the smuggling of cultural objects. In recent years, the Greek Police (ELAS) has created a special department to deal with crimes related to cultural heritage and antiquities.[2]

Since 2008, the laws on the trade in antiquities in Greece have been tightened, with the aim of protecting the country's cultural heritage from the threat of destruction due to illegal activities. Illegal trade in antiquities is now considered a very serious crime.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

This Is The Reason Why There Are Not Many Skyscrapers In Europe

Previously, the www.hukumindo.com platform has talk about "Maryam's Story, Bangkalan Resident Who Escaped the Death Penalty in KSA", "Linda Yuliana Arrested In Ethiopia, Trapped By Drug Trafficking Syndicate", you may read also "Moment of Ramadhan, Lombok Police Implement 'Sharia Tickets'" and on this occasion we will discuss about 'This Is The Reason Why There Are Not Many Skyscrapers In Europe'. Not all countries have skyscrapers, one of which is the countries in Europe. As reported by the BBC, the number of skyscrapers in Europe is only around 7 buildings that are above average in height. So, what is the reason that there are rarely tall buildings in Europe?[1]

There are several reasons why skyscrapers are difficult to build in Europe. One of them is the difficulty of regulation there because there are many cultural heritages that must be protected. For example, in the city of Rome, Italy, in the ancient city center, no building is allowed to exceed the height of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, which is 136 meters high. Another example is in the Greek capital, Athens, where no building is allowed to block the view of the Parthenon. If you want to build a tall building, it must not exceed 12 floors.[2]

Then in the British capital, London, has a skyscraper, The Shard, which rises more than 300 meters. However, building the building was not easy because the 1938 law was designed to protect St Paul's Cathedral. The law stipulates that no building may block the view of the 111-meter-high cathedral. Furthermore, this rule also states that there are 8 protected viewpoints, across London. All of them must not block the view of the iconic cathedral.[3]

Another reason is that most countries in Europe are resisting the urge to continue building high-rise buildings. They want to maintain the history that has long inhabited the city and do not want to compete with new cities in other parts of the world that have changed the concept of their areas from old to more modern cities significantly.[4] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Maryam's Story, Bangkalan Resident Who Escaped the Death Penalty in KSA

Maryam explained that the case began when her employer appeared in an angry state, and then committed violence against her. "Because I was insulted, cursed, and my hair was pulled. I poured hot water on my employer's right shoulder and part of his face," she said. The act was reported by Yahya's younger brother, Husen Mohammad Jabar, which then resulted in Maryam being arrested and tried in the Jeddah Court.[1]

"I did nothing wrong. I did not kill my employer. But I was sentenced to death. The Saudi Arabian court was unfair to me," she later asserted. During the legal process, Maryam admitted that she felt isolated and did not know who to turn to. The only person she could communicate with was a translator appointed by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI). "The translator from the KJRI is from Sumenep. He is the only one who could communicate with me while I was on trial in court," said Maryam.[2]

Despite living in despair, this woman admitted that she never stopped praying. "Day and night I only pray, hopefully I will be given the blessing of life, health. I still believe that I will survive, I don't know when Allah will show it." "Alhamdulillah, I am still alive until now," she continued. Through the Indonesian Consulate General, Maryam hoped to be released by paying the fine set by the court. However, the request was never fulfilled. Maryam was finally released after serving a sentence of 15 years and seven months. Maryam should have been released earlier in 2022, if she was able to pay a fine of IDR 1.6 billion. However, because she did not have the funds, she was forced to wait. Only on November 30, 2024, a Saudi Arabian citizen paid the fine, allowing Maryam to return home. "I don't know who is willing to pay the fine requested by the Government. I am grateful, may Allah reward her with manifold rewards," she said softly.[3] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

A Majalengka resident, Linda Yuliana (28), is currently facing legal proceedings in Ethiopia after allegedly being framed for carrying narcotics. There, Linda is apparently facing the death penalty. Linda is a resident of Liangjulang Village, Kadipaten District, Majalengka. In Ethiopia, Linda has to deal with the law because she is suspected of being framed by a drug syndicate.[1]

The case began when Linda received an assignment to deliver a bag of chocolate to Laos. In Ethiopia, Linda was promised a job to melt gold. Instead of working as a gold melter, Linda was assigned to deliver chocolate to Laos. Without suspecting anything, Linda took the bag to the airport. Unfortunately, her assignment was suspected to be a trap for Linda. She was arrested at the Ethiopian airport after prohibited items were found in her bag, which she initially believed contained chocolate.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

The Islamic belief that Ramadan is the month of the Koran seems to have inspired police officers in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province. The Central Lombok Regency Police Department (Polres) has begun implementing new methods of enforcing traffic laws. Central Lombok Police Chief AKBP Iwan Hidayat said he termed the method a "syariah ticket". He initiated this with the aim of providing a more humane approach to traffic violators on the road.[1]

Head of the Central Lombok Police Traffic Unit, AKP Puteh Rinaldi, explained that sharia tickets would be given to traffic violators under certain conditions. For those who claim to be able to recite the Koran properly and correctly, they will not be subject to ordinary fines. The violators were actually challenged to read verses from the Islamic holy book. "If violators can read or recite the Koran properly and correctly, then they will not be ticketed". "In contrary, we gave punishment in the form of a challenge to read verses from the holy Koran," said AKP Puteh, quoted by Republika from the official Korlantas Polri website.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Three Australian citizens (WN) were fined IDR 6 million and blacklisted by the Mount Rinjani National Park Office (TNGR). The reason is, the 3 foreigners climbed Mount Rinjani when it was closed. Strict sanctions were given to the three climbers from Australia after they dared to climb illegally via the Sembalun climbing tourist route. In fact, Mount Rinjani is currently still in the ecosystem recovery period. "The three of them were officially blacklisted for climbing for five years and were subject to a fine of IDR 6 million for all three," said the Head of the TNGR Hall, Yarman in his official statement.[1]

Yarman explained that TNGR Hall officers initially detected the presence of three foreign climbers in Plawangan Sembalun via closed-circuit television (CCTV) recording, Sunday (2/3/2025) at around 16.30 WITA. They were determined to carry out an illegal climb via the Bawak Nao route or Kandang Sapi in the middle of the night at around 00.00 WITA. TNGR Hall officers who received the report at 14.30 WITA immediately coordinated with the team and the WCM Working Group to provide guard at the Bawak Nao exit. However, the three climbers did not descend until 23.00 WITA.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is offering a "gold card" visa to wealthy foreign nationals who wish to become US citizens. The visa can be redeemed for IDR 82 billion (US$5 million). "They will be rich and successful, and they will spend a lot of money, pay a lot of taxes, and employ a lot of people. We think it will be very successful," Trump said at the White House. US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the proposed "gold card" would replace the EB-5 visa scheme that offers visas to foreign investors.[1]

What is Trump proposing? Trump did not mention at all that people who receive these visas must create jobs. "The ones who deserve it are the people with the money," he said. Despite the limited number of EB-5 visas, Trump wants his administration to sell 10 million "gold cards" to reduce the deficit. He said the visa "could be amazing, it would probably be fantastic."[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.
